A hydraulic hose is a flexible, tubular hose with a braided or spiral wire insert, suitable for high pressures. The hose can be constructed from one or more layers.

They have excellent chemical resistance, very good temperature resistance, are autoclavable, biocompatible and physiologically safe. Tubing made of polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE).

One or more layers of plastic (rubber) are vulcanized to form a hose. The hoses consist of a dense inner layer (core), a carrier material on top and another layer for mechanical (and chemical) protection on the outside.

Thermoplastic, PVC and silicone hoses are very similar to rubber hoses. A noticeable difference is the surface. Here the surface is made of thermoplastic, PVC and silicone.
